), reported net income for the Partnership's second quarter of fiscal 2001 of $1.67 per limited partner unit, a Partnership record for any quarter and 44% higher than the $1.16 per limited partner unit in the same period last year.

Net income for the quarter was $74,497,000, up 52% compared with $49,007,000 in the same period last year. Average limited partner units increased 5.5% over the prior year. For the three months ended March 2001, retail volumes sold were 287.9 million gallons, a 7.9% increase over the 266.8 million gallons sold in the prior-year period.
