In August 2004 the Company announced that it had received a purchase order to run trials based on a quotation the Company submitted for the application of the Laser Assisted Chip Control (LACC LACC Los Angeles City College

the trials until such time as a new line of machines ordered by Ford was installed, running and qualified at their plant. The machine manufacturer has recently delivered the machines which were ordered by Ford in the fall of 2004. AmeriChip has been informed by the Ford engineer, with whom the Company has maintained regular contact over the past six months, to be ready to finalize fi·nal·ize

the testing for the qualification portion of the trials in approximately one month.

The delay in this trial confirms the importance of the Company securing Tier One supplier status. As a Tier One supplier, AmeriChip can quote on a part to be manufactured at a lower cost by producing a finished product in our own AmeriChip facility using the LACC process. AmeriChip is, however, in a position to finalize these trials upon notification from Ford using our new production laser and robot. We believe we can produce the LACC process on production quantities of parts for Ford.
