AmeriCard taps ACI's server solution to offer its customers

ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq:TSAI), a leading international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced that AmeriCard Services, Inc. now offers Verified by Visa authentication services supported by ACI's software. Through ACI's issuer authentication software, AmeriCard issuer clients will conduct business using the added safety and reassurance of Visa's secure authentication and enrollment services.

Verified by Visa allows a consumer to add a personal password to their Visa card and use that password for authentication when making purchases at participating online stores. The service guarantees merchant payment and allows merchants to eliminate the cost of online fraud.

ACI's secure authentication service is designed to promote consumer confidence in shopping on the Internet through increased security of their confidential card and password information.
