Ameren to Hold Conference Call on 3rd Quarter 2007 Earnings.

CFO to Present at EEI Conference Nov. 6

ST. LOUIS -- Warner L. Baxter, Ameren Executive Vice President & CFO, will discuss 3rd-quarter 2007 earnings and other matters related to the company in a conference call with financial analysts on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Central Time).

Mr. Baxter is also scheduled to present at the 42nd Annual Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Financial Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time (9:30 a.m. Central) to 11:10 a.m. Eastern (10:10 a.m. Central).

Webcasts of the earnings call on Nov. 9, Mr. Baxter's presentation to EEI on Nov. 6, and supporting materials for both events will be available on the Investors area of Ameren's Web site at www.ameren.com.
