:AMMX), was on the phone today with his CFO See Chief Financial Officer. , Mr. Murphy, discussing the extensive and wide-ranging sales opportunities in Central America Central America, narrow, southernmost region (c.202,200 sq mi/523,698 sq km) of North America, linked to South America at Colombia. It separates the Caribbean from the Pacific. . He met with the engineering group that is designing the new port facilities. The meeting went very well. The new facilities are in the process of being competed and are expected to be finished in a couple years. The need for new equipment will exceed 25 million dollars to start operations. Mr. Hamre was able to answer numerous technical questions addressed to him concerning the specific and best suited equipment to fit their needs. The engineering firm was especially interested in hearing about the new technology available. Mr. Hamre was also able to assure them that AmeraMex could handle all their service requirements through the new agreement made on this trip with a machine service company. They have facilities and service employees to do field service in all the main cities in the region. Service requirements are one of the biggest concerns for customers. With this agreement in place we can service anyone in Central America with the same quality and professionalism as we do here in the USA.

Mr. Hamre met with another gentleman regarding an entire fleet of loaders, excavators, and rock trucks to handle crushed rock across the port for shipment by vessel to Houston, and New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded . The rock is needed desperately in that region due to the damage caused by the Hurricane Katrina Editing of this page by unregistered or newly registered users is currently disabled due to vandalism. . This package of equipment will be valued at approximately $5,000,000.00 and should be put together and the financing secured in a few weeks. Mr. Hamre stated that he has the connections to take a purchase deal like this to the Exim Bank Exim bank

for package financing fairly quickly and when the financing is completed the order can be placed for the machines.

Lastly Mr. Hamre is expecting to hear in the next few weeks whether the port facilities visited on this trip will go ahead with the purchase of the three large container handlers proposed. This order would be valued at approximately $1,500,000.00. The current equipment being used at these facilities is very old and the maintenance is more costly then a lease on new machinery. Again, the available international financing that AmeraMex can arrange will make all the difference.
