) today announced its intention to purchase adjustable conversion-rate equity security units ("ACES") of AmerUs Life Holdings, Inc. as well as its previously announced intention to purchase shares of common stock of AmerUs Life Holdings, Inc.. The purchases will be made from time to time dictated by prevailing market conditions.
