Byline: DAVID McCARTHY David McCarthy (born 16 July 1983 in Dublin) is an Irish sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres and began racing over 800 metres in 2007.

But despite hitting 30 next Sunday, she believes she can achieve more success.

She said: "I'm enjoying myself far more than I've done in the last couple of years. I've had some good times and hopefully will have some more." Lisicki, who needed five match points before sealing the biggest win of her career, said: "I just kept fighting.

"It's a huge win for me as, before Wimbledon, I hadn't won a match on grass. I can't believe I'm in the fourth round." After taking the opening set, Lisicki was 5-3 ahead in the second but Kuznetsova battled back to level at 5-5.

Lisicki, who has recorded the second fastest ladies' serve so far (122mph), held her serve and the Russian failed to close out from 40-0 up to let her opponent in to claim victory..
