 have signed an agreement to integrate Siemens' U.S. Computer Systems business into Amdahl Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Ltd.

Amdahl will gain approximately 65 highly-skilled professional sales and marketing personnel with experience in mission-critical UNIX UNIX

Amdahl will incorporate Siemens' current Primergy(R) and Reliant(R) products into its robust product portfolio, which includes mainframe systems, storage products, software and professional consulting services.

Through this agreement, Amdahl, Siemens and Fujitsu each achieve an expanded presence in the U.S. IT market, as well as improve the companies' abilities to serve global accounts worldwide. Siemens U.S. Information and Communications companies gain a strong IT partner and access to a more extensive product portfolio to support a broader customer base.
