Amdahl Global Solutions, a division of Amdahl Corporation, today announced that it has licensed over 1000 licensing agreements for Amdahl's TDMF(TM) (Transparent Data Migration Facility) storage management software solution. TDMF is the only vendor-independent storage management software solution offered in the industry.

Farmers Group, Inc., (Nasdaq:FIG-A) a leading global provider of insurance and financial services, utilized Amdahl's TDMF to move more than 2 terabytes of data across two locations in California and Ohio. As a result, 14,000 Farmers Group field agents had continuous performance and reliability while migration efforts were underway.
