Linda Wink is reporting directly to the Group President, Alan Bell. Linda Wink is directly responsible for the strategic positioning and the overall management of Amdahl's software business to complement Amdahl's infrastructure solutions initiative announced on October 12, 1998.

In 1987, Ms. Wink co-founded MVS (Multiple Virtual Storage) Introduced in 1974, the primary operating system used with IBM mainframes (the others are VM and DOS/VSE).
