Amdahl Extends Multivendor Enterprise Service Capabilities With ATLAS.

ATLAS program optimizes customer's cost of operations and

accelerates best practices with proactive on-site management and

remote monitoring.

Amdahl Corporation today announced that its Amdahl Technology Leading Availability Solutions(tm) (ATLAS) will be available in January 1999.

ATLAS is a complete portfolio of business support services such as cost management, risk management and availability management that are built upon Amdahl's Multivendor Enterprise Services (MVES) for the management of the entire data center.

The ATLAS program provides customers with site management support services through an assigned ATLAS service manager who comes equipped with a portfolio of packaged services to deliver effective management practices of a customer's infrastructure. Furthermore, ATLAS Site Monitor tools enhance on-site management with remote monitoring of all attached System/390(R) compatible equipment and peripherals, assuring that the data center is managed with uniform service levels.
