Amdahl Corporation Announces New Value-Added Reseller Program For North America.

Telecomm Industries, Ameritech's largest distributor, becomes

Amdahl's first reseller in the North American market.

Amdahl Corporation announced today a new Value-Added Reseller (VAR) channel program to expand the company's presence in the North American enterprise computing market. Amdahl will target resellers in application, data warehousing, and large networking environments, expanding its overall business capabilities in the enterprise Windows NT(TM) market.

The company's Worldwide Channel Operations (WCO) based in Chicago, Illinois will manage the VAR program. Telecomm Industries Corporation (NASDAQ:TCMM), Ameritech's (NYSE:AIT) largest distributor, is Amdahl's first VAR. Telecomm sells voice, data, cellular, video, and telephone information solutions and will focus on LAN, WAN, and data networking sales for the midwest region.
