Amdahl Corporation and LECTRIX LLC today announced a global teaming agreement that will enable new application service providers (ASPs), Internet service providers (ISPs), Data Co-Location centers and other companies to acquire single source, turnkey data centers with reliable, guaranteed power anywhere in the world.

Amdahl's Service Division builds, manages, and maintains 7/24 data centers around the world. LECTRIX, a joint venture between American Electrical Power (AEP), Bechtel Enterprises, and Siemens, builds, owns and operates state-of-the-art, data center infrastructure and provides service guarantees to its customers. Under the terms of the agreement, Amdahl Corporation and LECTRIX will work together to build the world's most reliable, available, and serviceable data centers for their customers.
