on the Independence property. Two areas of workings were located near their appropriate MINFILE locations. It was established that MINEFILE entry for Gold King and Honky Tonk had erroneously ascribed a common location for both mineral occurrences. The Gold King remains untested at the time of writing, but the Honky Tonk confirmed the presence of gold-bearing mineralization hosted by a quartz-chlorite carbonate vein, where a gold value of 4.3 gm/t was returned for a sample of vein material taken from float in collapsed trench. A 150 m x 100 m soil grid was constructed and sampled to cover the old workings, at a sample interval of 25 m. A discontinuous discontinuous /dis·con·tin·u·ous/ (dis?kon-tin´u-us)

trenches and anomalous Au concentrations in rock and soil defines an approximate trace of 280 westward from 2 collapsed adits to the highly anomalous trench, a distance of 150 m. This anomaly is open to the west. A single exposure of the vein in the outcrop is consistent with a 280 strike, with a steep dip to the north. Excavation of the overgrown workings on the Honky Tonk showing to expose the veins and westward extension of the existing soil grid are recommended.

The Independence Property hosts a number of gold, silver, and copper prospects, including old workings that have received little or no recent exploration. Previously taken chip samples from the underground workings at the Independence showing returned values as high as 7.54 gm/t Au, 123.41 gm/t Ag, and 17.2 % copper.  located on the property produced a total of 7 tonnes of ore containing 341 gm Au, 621 gm Ag and 51kg Cu. This previous exploration suggests a favorable environment for Au - Ag vein-type and porphyry Au - Cu mineralization.

Abundant float of the Silver King Porphyry, which is intimately associated with the Kena Au - Cu deposit occurs on the hill northeast of Noman Creek. Two non-anomalous stream sediment samples taken during this study constrain the source of pronounced gold anomaly, in a Regional Geochemical Survey sample, (which was the highest in the Map Sheet area) to the lower part of Noman Creek, where a projected apophysis apophysis /apoph·y·sis/ (ah-pof´i-sis) pl. apoph´yses   [Gr.] any outgrowth or swelling, especially a bony outgrowth that has never been entirely separated from the bone of which it forms a part, such as a process, tubercle, or  of the Silver King Porphyry intersects the creek. It is recommended that detailed prospecting be carried out in this area to locate the source of the anomaly.

An exploration program compromising four man-days of fieldwork was carried out on the Bluebird-Rumbler property during the fall of 2002, in order to confirm the existence and extent of gold bearing mineralization on the Bluebird property. Two areas of workings were located, at the old Bluebird occurrence (MINFLE 082FSW FSW Friction Stir Welding

At the Bluebird showing, several pits were sampled in which a .25 m quartz vein, containing tourmaline tourmaline (tr`məlĭn, –lēn), complex borosilicate mineral with varying amounts of aluminum, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, potassium, and sometimes other elements,  and chlorite chlorite

, is exposed over a strike length of 70 m. The vein has a strike of 322 and dips to the northeast at angles between 65 and 59. Eight grab samples were analyzed at ACME labs of Vancouver, BC and four returned values in excess of 2 gm/t Au, including one value of 16.8 gm/t.

Several undocumented workings were discovered on Rumbler 2 during the staking of he Rumbler 1 and 2 claims. This mineral occurrence, further investigated during the present exploration, comprises at least 11 workings, including trenches, 3 shafts, a collapsed adit and a winze winze

intrusive wallrock returned values as high as 1.2 gm/t Au. The Rumbler workings are adjacent to the Kena Property, approximately one kilometer east of the Kena Gold Zone and contain similar mineralization, rich in pyrite pyrite (pī`rīt) or iron pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–, pī`rīts), pale brass-yellow mineral, the bisulfide of iron, FeS2.  and/or prryhotite. The existence of this occurrence suggests a favorable environment for Gold-Silver vein-type and porphyry Au - Cu mineralization.

Further work by the companies' professional Geologist has been recommended to further explore the extent and style of gold mineralization discovered during the 2002 work program and will be conducted as soon as weather permits.
