Additional Funding for SOA Runtime Governance Leader Includes New Investment from SAP Ventures and Full Participation by All Existing Investors

OAKLAND, Calif. -- AmberPoint, the leading provider of service-oriented architecture (SOA) runtime governance software, today announced that it has secured an investment from SAP Ventures, the venture capital arm of SAP AG, the world's leading provider of business software solutions. Joining SAP in this $9 million of additional funding are all of AmberPoint's existing investors, including Crosslink Capital, Meritech Capital Partners, Motorola Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures.
