Amber Diagnostics, which remanufactures such medical equipment as CT scanners, mammography machines, bone densitometers, fluoroscopic C-arms and general X-ray rooms, has found the market for radiology parts has grown dramatically in the past 10 years, with much of the demand coming from independent X-ray organizations and private practitioners. The parts sector has evolved into a thriving portion of Amber Diagnostics' business portfolio, with independent parts sales and repairs expected to contribute nearly $1.5 million through the first two quarters of 2003.
