the www.AmberAlert.com, www.AmberAlert.net and www.AmberAlert.org domain names to the Consortium. Effective immediately, the new domain names will direct visitors to the AmberAlert911.com portal, providing a single point of access for the Amber Alert community of government officials, corporate citizens and the public.

"The Amber Alert Web Portal Consortium has played a critical role in making the next generation of the Amber Alert system a reality in neighborhoods nationwide," said Mick Still, President of Secondscount L.P. "We are proud to contribute these domain names to the Consortium in the hope that it will one day help bring an end to kidnapping kidnapping, in law, the taking away of a person by force, threat, or deceit, with intent to cause him to be detained against his will. Kidnapping may be done for ransom or for political or other purposes. ."

Dr. Peter Ward, Founding Chairman of the Partnership for Public Warning and now co-founder of the All Alert Consortium said, "This contribution will make it easier for the public to access alerts and to be engaged and empowered in locating kidnapped children."

The Amber Alert Web Portal enhances the current Amber Alert system to include message broadcasts via cell phones, beepers, email, websites and desktop computers. Deployed in 2004 and endorsed by the National Association of State Chief Information Officers, the system has already led to the successful recovery of a kidnapped child. Washington, Arizona, Montana and Idaho are among the first states to fully implement the new system.

"We gratefully acknowledge the valuable contribution (Secondscount L.P.) has made to our efforts," said Chris Warner, Founding Partner, Amber Alert Web Portal Consortium.
