Former Rep. Thomas M. Foglietta Thomas Michael (Tom) Foglietta (December 3, 1928 – November 13, 2004) was an American politician from the state of Pennsylvania, most notable for his time in the House of Representatives from 1981 to 1997. , who recently stepped down as U.S. Ambassador to Italy, has joined Cassidy & Associates as a senior vice president based in Rome, where he will help Italian, European and U.S. clients navigate various policy arenas here and abroad, Gerald S.
