A new internal staircase connecting the two floors was also part of Ambassador's tenant build-out for American Capital Access. The construction required demolition as well as concrete and steel work, which all had to be done while maintaining office operations on the occupied 47th floor. The attractive new staircase features a wood landing, custom bronze posts, cherry wood hand railings and fabric wall paneling. The installation features curved walls with cherry wood slats, fabric wall paneling, wood and glass partitions and marble floor tile accents. The decor also includes pendent lighting fixtures in corridors around the conference rooms, as well as over the stairs and entrance area. Cobrooke Architecture & Design, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol was the project architect. |
