Amazon.com appoints Scott Cook to its board of directors.


SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1997--Amazon.com, earth's biggest bookstore, announced that Scott D. Cook, co-founder and chairman of Intuit, Inc., has been appointed to its board of directors.
