Amazon.com, Inc. Announces Closing of Public Offering of 6 7/8% Convertible Subordinated Notes Due 2010.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2000

Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMZN AMZN Amazon.com (NASDAQ symbol) ) announced today that it has closed a public offering of 690 million euros aggregate principal amount of its 6 7/8% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2010.

The notes were offered at par.

The notes and shares of common stock of the company issuable upon conversion of the notes are covered by the company's existing shelf registration statement.
