Amazon.Com Announces Redemption of Senior Discount Notes.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2003

Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMZN AMZN Amazon.com (NASDAQ symbol) ) today announced that on May 28, 2003, it will redeem all of its outstanding 10% Senior Discount Notes due May 2008.
