Inc (Nasdaq:AMZN AMZN Amazon.com (NASDAQ symbol) ) announced on Thursday the beta launch of AmazonWireless, a new website offering cell phones and service plans. Amazon said that in addition to expanding selection and adding carriers during the beta test A test of new or revised hardware or software that is performed by users at their facilities under normal operating conditions. Beta testing follows alpha testing.
