AmMex Gold to Drill Test Multiple Targets at their Tiliche Project in Sonoro, Mexico.SONORO, Mexico -- September 20, 2006 - AmMex Gold Mining Corp. (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :AMXG)(FWB (Fixed Wireless Broadband) See fixed wireless. :R5E)(WKN WKN Wertpapier-Kenn-Nummer (identifying number assigned to securities traded in Germany) WKN Warrior Knowledge Network (US Army) :A0KE72) is pleased to announce that a 6000 meter reverse-circulation drill program will commence within the next 10 days at its Tiliche Project located in NW Sonora, Mexico, within the gold belt that stretches from southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, to central Sonora. The Tiliche project is approximately 50 kilometers NE of the Penoles-Newmont Herradura Gold Mine (4 million ounces). Bill Reed, Manager of Exploration in Mexico stated, "It took nearly two years to assemble and advance this 16,000+ hectare property, and I am very excited to commence drilling. Given the numerous targets we have identified with our exploration work and the large size of this property in a very prospective gold belt, I am optimistic that we will be able to identify a large mineable resource with economic grades." Detailed geologic mapping and rock chip sampling have delineated at least 8 exploration targets at Tiliche, which are strongly analogous to the nearby large open-pit gold mines at La Herradura and La Choya. Drill sites are being prepared at six separate high quality target areas, each with attractive gold and associated pathfinder element values in outcrop. Of 584 rock samples collected during the initial assessment of the Tiliche targets, 109 samples contained gold values greater than 1 gram per ton, with 32 of these greater than 5 grams per ton. As a first phase test of these six targets, a program of 6000 meters of reverse circulation drilling will begin during the last week of September. After an evaluation of the results of this drilling, a second phase of drilling is anticipated early in 2007.
