AmCad Implements the First Alabama Web-Based Case Management System for Shelby County Probate Court.

RESTON, Va. -- AmCad, LLC, announced today that the Shelby County, Alabama Probate Court and Chief Clerk's Office has implemented the State's first fully integrated, Web-based court case management system - AiCMS(R).

AiCMS, developed by AmCad, is a .NET-based person-centric case management solution. The product requires no desktop software; it is entirely Web-based. It has been designed to streamline systematic processes for case management in court systems, incorporating the latest national court standards for data collection and sharing, including Justice XML. AiCMS is designed to integrate with existing infrastructure and applications, which results in consistency across widely varying business processes.

AmCad first installed its Land Records application, AmCad Integrated Land Information System (AiLIS), at Shelby County about two years ago. Adding AiCMS to the existing solution provides new functionality to manage Wills and other Probate documents and processes. AmCad provided, in partnership with the Shelby County Probate Court, installation, configuration, training and support services to fully deploy the solution. The system brings the office into a new era of case management with the use of the latest advanced, state-of-the-art technology.
