Always On Wireless Expands Management Team, Board; Maker of Portable WiFlyer Base Station for Wi-Fi over Dial-up Adds Greg Fitzgerald as VP Marketing; Mark Flynn to Board.


HOUSTON -- Always On Wireless, Inc., a developer of WiFi communications products, announced that it has expanded its management team appointing Greg Fitzgerald as vice president of marketing and Mark Flynn of Trilogy Capital Partners to its board of directors. These appointments are part of the company's expansion to meet demand for its recently announced WiFlyer(TM) portable wireless base station.

"Greg will greatly expand our marketing efforts for the WiFlyer and his background in both the mobile and enterprise markets will serve us well," said Rudy Prince, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and founder of the company. "At the same time, Mark Flynn's 20-plus years of financial experience in the technology field will be a real asset to our Board. He has a highly respected track record as an investor, and is a welcome addition as we grow the business."

Fitzgerald is leading Always On Wireless' strategic marketing and business development efforts worldwide. Previously, Fitzgerald was vice president of marketing at Traq-wireless, an enterprise mobile software company, where he established it as the leader in its segment. Prior leadership experience includes a post as director of worldwide marketing at BMC Software, where he drove BMC's ebusiness product line from idea through productization, including two years opening BMC's International Headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to BMC Software, Fitzgerald was director of marketing and business development at PDQ (Parallel Data Query) A query optimized for massively parallel processors (MPPs). Flynn's appointment is in conjunction with the company's previously closed Series A financing. Investors included Trilogy Capital Partners, LLC, Laulima, L.P., as well as other accredited investors.
