) today announced that Michael G. Kazeef will replace Robert R. Goble as president of Alumax Engineered Metal Processes, Inc. (AEMP AEMP Association of Equipment Management Professionals

).

Mr. Kazeef will report to George P. Stoe, executive vice president, who is responsible for the company's semi-fabricated business operations.

Mr. Stoe said:

"Effective today Mr. Kazeef has full responsibility and authority for the day-to-day operations of AEMP.

"We have had great success with the commercialization of the semi-solid forging process. Our customers have high expectations of the process and we must maintain a sharp focus on production to continue to meet those expectations.

"Mike Kazeef has many years of experience in process control, process development and quality assurance. He will ensure that the efforts put forth by everyone in AEMP, who have brought the organization to this level of success, will be given all the support necessary to maintain their world leadership role in semi-solid forging technology."
