Alumax announces executive management change.

NORCROSS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1996--Alumax Inc. (NYSE:AMX)(Toronto: AXI) today announced that Michael G. Kazeef will replace Robert R. Goble as president of Alumax Engineered Metal Processes, Inc. (AEMP).

Mr. Kazeef will report to George P. Stoe, executive vice president, who is responsible for the company's semi-fabricated business operations.

Mr. Stoe said:

"Effective today Mr. Kazeef has full responsibility and authority for the day-to-day operations of AEMP.
