:AMX; Toronto:AXI), today announced that the company's board of directors has elected Michael T. Vollkommer as vice president, strategic planning and corporate development, reporting to Mr. Born. Mr. Vollkommer was previously vice president and controller of Alumax.

Mr. Born also announced that Kevin J. Krakora, formerly vice president, finance of Kawneer Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

He has served Kawneer Company as vice president, finance since 1994.

Mr. Krakora, 41, is a certified public accountant. He received his MBA degree in 1980 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a bachelor of arts degree in 1978 from Columbia College in New York.
