Aluma Systems Announces Seven New Contract Wins Including Dubai, Doha City Center, Qatar and the Emirate of Sharjah.


DUBAI, United Arab Emerates & TORONTO -- Toronto-based Aluma Systems today announced a series of seven major new contract awards for its international division supplying Alumalite Tables for multiple concrete construction projects in the Arabian Peninsula Arabian Peninsula
 or Arabia

Peninsular region, southwest Asia. With its offshore islands, it covers about 1 million sq mi (2.6 million sq km). Constituent countries are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and, the largest, Saudi Arabia.
. One of these contracts is the first contract award for Aluma in Qatar.

These seven assignments represent the newest awards in 2005 for Aluma Systems, the world leader in forming and shoring solutions and industrial scaffolding services. New 2005 Projects

Doha City Center, Doha, Qatar

This is Aluma Systems' first project in Qatar. The City Center, located in the West Bay area and made up of five levels offering 350 outlets, is one of the largest shopping malls in the Middle East. This development is for 5 multi-phase high-rise hotels in Qatar: the Marriott Residence, Marriott Courtyard, Shangri-La, Merweb and Rotana Hotels. Aluma Systems is planning to place a person full-time in order to service this project with the possibility of establishing a separate sub-branch in Qatar.

Goldcrest Tower, Dubai

Aluma Systems also has begun working on the Goldcrest Tower in Dubai, which followed its work on the Doha City Center. The Goldcrest project is comprised of open office units and fully furnished fur·nish
