Altus Pharmaceuticals Appoints Alan Kimura, M.D., Ph.D. Vice President, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.


CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Altus(R) Pharmaceuticals Inc., a leader in the development of novel protein therapies to treat chronic gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases, announced today that Alan Kimura, M.D., Ph.D. has been appointed Vice President, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs. In this new position, Dr. Kimura will lead Altus' Medical and Clinical Affairs groups which oversees clinical development and all medical-related activities for Altus' portfolio of clinical products and drug candidates.

"Alan brings to Altus extensive experience from a 16-year drug development career in both large pharmaceutical organizations and small biotech companies," said John Richard John D. Richard Q.C. (born July 30, 1934) is the Chief Justice of Canada's Federal Court of Appeal.
