Altris Software Inc. Appoints New VP of System Sales.

Altris Software, Inc. (OTCBB: ALTS), a leading Document Service Provider (DSP), today announced that it has appointed James Melton as Vice President of System Sales to head the Company's sales initiative.

With a career spanning more than 24 years in sales and sales management of small and large companies at district, regional and national levels, Mr. Melton joins Altris as a key appointment to lead an aggressive sales drive. His achievements include restructuring and building sales operations, substantially increasing worldwide revenues; moving from a loss to profit situation while creating positive cash flow; and assisting companies in achieving successful IPOs.

Mr. Melton's previous positions include Vice President Sales and Marketing at ACCEL Technologies in San Diego, California, President of Outsourcing Operations at U.S. Technologies Inc. in Marietta, Georgia where he was also a member of the Board of Directors; and President of Family Safety Products Inc., a consumer products manufacturer in Marietta, Georgia.

Mr. Melton is no stranger to the document management arena, having gained previous experience serving as District Sales Manager and later Regional Director at Intergraph Corporation, as well as Vice President of Sales at Benson Inc., and Optigraphics Corporation.
