Altova Launches Beta of New Product Line of XML Tools.

Altova (www.altova.com) today announced the beta version of XML Spy 4.0(TM), a new product line built on the success of prior XML Spy products.

Version 4.0 will be the first complete solution for XML Schema driven document and content editing for both developers and users in virtually all environments.

In addition, the new 4.0 product line will include the XSLT (eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformation) Software that converts an XML document into another format such as HTML, PDF or text. It may also be used to convert one XML document to another XML document with a different set of XML tags (different schema).  Generator, a tool for creating Stylesheets in a graphical environment, and the Document Framework, which supports free-flow editing of XML document content, form-based data input, and real-time validation - all available in a user-friendly interface that is well-suited for non-technical users.

XML Spy 4.0 Beta was recently reviewed at the Chicago XMLOne Conference & Expo and the XML Europe 2001 Show, where developers and users alike got a first glimpse of the new version of XML Spy and the positive feedback was overwhelming. The new XML Spy 4.0 product line will greatly accelerate the widespread adoption of XML Schema in companies and the industry overall.

XML Spy 4.0 Beta Availability
