Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA). (Company News).


The U.S. Department of Commerce decided to allow steel plate manufactured by Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA AHMSA Altos Hornos de Mexico SA (Mexican steel company) ) into the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  duty free, for the first time in over 10 years. The decision ends a dispute between U.S. steel The United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) is an integrated steel producer with major production operations in the United States and Central Europe. The company is the world's seventh-largest steel producer ranked by sales (see list of steel producers).  producers and AHMSA, Mexico's only producer of steel plate, over alleged dumping by the Mexican company.
