AltoWeb, Inc., the leading application production platform company, today announced that it has joined Eclipse as a supporting member by unanimous vote. Eclipse is an open community that implements the Eclipse Platform, an open-source, universal platform for tools integration. As a voting member of the Board of Stewards, AltoWeb's chief architect, Elli Albek, will participate in defining policies, practices, and standards for this open-source initiative.
