Licensing and availability

To access the SVS SDK, please visit the Altiris Developer Portal http://www.altiris.com/portal/dev and register with Altiris. Access is generally approved within 24 hours. Persons who have already registered for access to the Altiris ASDK will be able to access the SVS SDK without the need for a second registration. The SVS SDK license enables an entity to develop applications and to use such applications solely within the organization where it was developed. The license restricts external distribution of a new application created using the SVS SDK unless the application is submitted to the Altiris Juice Web community at http://juice.altiris.com. The applicable end-user license terms and conditions are available with the SVS SDK download from the Altiris Developer Portal. Developers who want to develop an SVS-based application for commercial purposes should contact Altiris.

Trinket is offered under a BSD-style license allowing redistribution of derivative works under the license of the developer's choice. Developers are not required to publish or make available the source code of their derivative works.
