AltiGen Communications (Nasdaq:ATGN), the market leader in IP-PBX phone systems for the small and mid-sized business (SMB), today announced the availability of its 12-port Triton(TM) Analog Trunk card, the first of its kind in the small to mid-size business marketplace. The Triton(TM) Analog card, with full DSP resources, extends the total port capacity of one chassis to 192 analog telephones, enhancing the capacity and flexibility of the phone system to change and grow along with the needs of customers.

The Triton solution delivers an easy way to increase phone system capacity using the trunk-side PCI format compatible with most standard industry server platforms such as Compaq and Flextel. The AltiGen/Flextel chassis solution has gained industry recognition due to the fact that there is no other carrier-grade, redundant solution in the SMB market.
