I loved Lawrence Lawrence.

1 City (1990 pop. 26,763), Marion co., central Ind., a residential suburb of Indianapolis, on the West Fork of the White River. It has light manufacturing.

2 City (1990 pop. 65,608), seat of Douglas co., NE Kans.
 Schlack's guest column, "Going to College Is Not Always the Best Choice" (March 2007), and I agree with most of his points.

As a secondary school teacher, administrator and now a K-12 curriculum coordinator, I often see students head to college totally unprepared for the unique challenges they face. I believe graduates often need time to try different jobs, gain some independence, travel or just find themselves. This time away from formal education can often benefit and enrich those experiences later in life.

I will be sharing Schlack's column with my fellow curriculum specialists from around Niagara Niagara, river, United States and Canada
