By vastly exceeding the capacity, coverage and cost-performance of current Wi-Fi solutions, Xirrus' next-generation Wi-Fi architecture helps enterprises achieve the greatest cost-performance today while positioning themselves for emerging applications such as voice over WLAN See voice over Wi-Fi.  (VoWLAN).

Xirrus' Wireless LAN Array integrates the functionality of a WLAN switch and up to sixteen 802.11a/b/g access points in a single device to deliver the industry's first Gigabit-class capacity (864 Mbps), as well as four times the coverage area achieved with competing architectures. By simultaneously using up to 16 non-overlapping channels, the WLAN Array overcomes performance issues that commonly arise as existing architectures attempt to scale with demand.
