Alterian Names Brett S. Kilpatrick CEO of North American Operations; Analytics Veteran Brings 21 Years of Expertise With Global Software Companies.

Alterian (LSE:ALN) announced today the appointment of Brett S. Kilpatrick as chief executive officer of North American operations.

Kilpatrick, 43, joins Alterian, a leading global provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) analytics, from Narus Software, where he was vice president of worldwide field operations for the Palo Alto, Calif.-based telecommunications intelligence solutions company.

As CEO, Kilpatrick will lead the executive management team of Alterian, Inc., a subsidiary of Alterian plc, which was established in the United Kingdom in 1997.

Prior to his tenure at Narus Software, Kilpatrick served as the vice president of worldwide sales and field operations for Fremont, California-based Accrue Software, a provider of e-business analytical solutions. He was responsible for sales and business development processes, sales operations, contracting, pricing, and international operations at Accrue.

Kilpatrick also has held management and executive positions with Iona Technologies, Accenture, Oracle Corp., and Versant Object Technology. Has been part of four IPOs and helped take companies from $0 to more than $100 million. Kilpatrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Purdue University in 1980.
