Altera Corporation (Nasdaq:ALTR) today unveiled shipment of the 100,000-gate EP20K100, the newest member of the revolutionary APEX(TM) 20K family of programmable logic devices (PLDs). Based on a 0.22-micron, 6-layer20K100 supports System-on-a-Programmable-Chip(Tel designs. For example, segment and reassemblyAPEX MultiCore(TM) architecture integrates both nique MultiCore architecture, which combines logouting structure. Each embedded system block (Eed by Altera's fourth-generation development enhnology, Synopsys, Synplicity, Viewlogic, and otg IP as easy-to-use parameterized cores, designeuartus design environment simplifies IP integrae. Other package options include 144-pin TQFP See QFP. , 240-pin PQFP (Plastic Quad Flat Package) Refers to many varieties of QFP chip packages, which are molded in plastic.
