Altera Gives Thanks By Walking for Local Charities.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 2000

Altera Corporation (Nasdaq:ALTR), a leading supplier of programmable logic devices (PLDs), and its employees are giving back to the local communities this holiday season by participating in several fund-raising walks throughout the Bay Area. During the past month, Altera and its employees have participated in walks that support and raise funds for non-profit organizations such as the American Heart Association American Heart Association (AHA),
n.pr a national voluntary health agency that has the goal of increasing public and medical awareness of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, and thereby reducing the number of associated deaths and disabilities.
