Altera Corporation Awarded With Georgia Tech's Hill Society Membership.

San Jose-based Altera Corporation (Nasdaq:ALTR) has been selected as a charter member of Georgia Tech's prestigious Hill Society. Georgia Tech's Hill Society was established to recognize all donors of $1 million and up, which include corporations, individuals, foundations, and all alumni. Through Altera's donation of over $2.3 million of state-of-the-art professional CAD tools, Georgia Tech's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering has been able to keep up with leading-edge technology.

Hamblen, Associate Professor at the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering. "In addition to the traditional digital laboratory projects with gates and state machines, all ECE students now use Altera's programmable logic CAD tools to develop next-generation products."
