Alteer Corp., a supplier of automated medical practice workflow systems, has been named by Microsoft Corp. and Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) as a finalist in the 2001 Industry Solution Awards for Healthcare.

The ISAH awards recognize independent software vendors in the health-care industry that best utilize Microsoft(R) technology. An independent panel of judges select finalists based on their use of Microsoft Windows(R) 2000 Server, Microsoft SQL Server(TM) 7.0 or higher, and Microsoft enterprise platform technology to provide tangible business benefits to health-care organizations.
