Altec Lansing Technologies, Inc. and Casady and Greene today announced a joint marketing program for Apple Computer buyers featuring three exciting Apple offerings: SoundJam MP music software, the ACS66i computer speaker and the ADA70 USB computer speaker.

Both Altec Lansing speakers will be bundled with SoundJam MP, a digital audio system able to convert a computer into a music jukebox. This Mac solution for MP3 will be available with the speakers including a 14 day trial of SoundJam Plus which provides additional features for internet audio playback. Together, the products allow consumers to maximize the audio features of a variety of Apple computer systems with the newest high quality audio software and hardware on the market today.

SoundJam MP provides quality playback of all of today's hot music formats, including MP3, streaming MP3, MP2, MOD, AIFF, WAV and more as well as powerful and intuitive play list arrangement. The software converts CDs into MP3's, plays music streams over the internet, and functions to create, organize and modify customized music collections. The product also includes a 10 band equalizer, visual musical effects and musical compression.

The ACS66i includes two satellites and a wood subwoofer totaling 40 watts of power. Delivering high quality audio for music and games, the system provides separate controls for master and subwoofer volume allowing the listener to customize the audio environment and choose the exact desired audio sweet spot. The speakers offer consumers the unique ability to change the "color" of their audio system with removable satellite rims and a subwoofer knob sold with all six colors of the iMac Computer System.
