Altec Lansing Announces Senior Manager Appointments and Promotions.

Altec Lansing Technologies, Inc. today announced the appointment and promotion of five company managers.

Tom Frank has joined Altec Lansing as Global Account Manager-Compaq and David Elam has joined as Global Account Manager Dell. Both positions will report directly to Chris Frey, Vice President OEM Sales.

Most recently, Frank worked as a Sales Engineer for the Thomas & Betts Corporation in Houston, Texas. Frank had complete account responsibility for a variety of large accounts including Compaq, Telxon and RadiSys.

Elam previously held the position of Outside Sales Representative at The Schoonmaker Company in Dallas, Texas where he was responsible for developing, cultivating and maintaining OEMs and contract manufacturers.

Each will be responsible for worldwide management of specific OEM accounts with direct responsibility managing sales of our desktop speakers, microspeakers and expansion into new IP technology products. Both Frank and Elam come to Altec Lansing with over 10 years of experience working with OEM accounts in this sector and will begin immediately working out of Houston and Austin respectively.

Additional Sales Department leadership changes include two strategic promotions at the corporate headquarters. Cindy Peters has been promoted to the position of Director of Product Management. In her new position, Peters will have complete responsibility for the management of product development including OEM, Reseller channel and advanced technology products.

Kristen Gallagher has been promoted to the position of Manager-Inside Sales and will be responsible for overseeing inside sales functions including forecasting, OEM and Retail sales, consumer support. Kristen will report directly to Rick Spotts, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In our Hong Kong office, Clive Bunyard has been promoted to Director of Production and Materials. He will be responsible for product planning and management of all materials in the production of all Altec Lansing products. Bunyard will report directly to Ed Holland, Senior Vice President - Asia Pacific.
