The XT1 also looks as cool as it sounds. Each satellite measures just 1.9" x 1.3" x 7.5" and comes in slate gray with a mesh silver grill and a brushed aluminum decorative side panel.

The system plugs into the USB port on a notebook or desktop computer, so there are no power supplies or batteries to forget at home. An auxiliary input jack and cables make it possible to connect a second audio source like a portable CD player or an MP3 player simultaneously, so one set of speakers can do double duty.
