Altea Therapeutics announced today the appointment of three new Directors from the pharmaceutical industry as it broadens the leadership of its product development programs. The Company's lead clinical products are a daily insulin skin patch skin patch, transdermal patch, or transdermal delivery system, adhesive patch used to deliver a controlled dose of a drug through the skin over a period of time.  for treating individuals with diabetes, and hydromorphone skin patches for the controlled management of acute and chronic pain.

Edda Gomez-Panzani, M.D. has joined the Company as Director of Clinical R&D and Head of Medical Affairs. As a former Medical Director for Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals she provided medical leadership to multi-functional U.S. and international study teams and was also responsible for Medical Safety. Her experience in drug development includes diverse therapeutic areas such as Pain/Migraine, Gastrointestinal Diseases gastrointestinal disease,

Frank Tagliaferri, Ph.D. is appointed Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences, responsible for product formulation, (bio)analysis, immunology and animal biological studies. Frank Tagliaferri is experienced in the design and analysis of novel delivery systems for both small molecules and biopharmaceuticals. He was most recently at NaPro Biotherapeutics as Director of Preclinical R&D. Dr. Tagliaferri holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia.

Ross Durland, Ph.D. becomes Director of Product Feasibility, responsible for leading the Company's experimental program to define product development candidates for the Company. Ross Durland was previously at Chromos You may be looking for:
