Panorama v2.6 continues its market leadership in breadth and depth of coverage of Distributed Application Performance Management

Altaworks Corporation, a leading provider of distributed application performance management software, today announced a new release of its flagship software solution, Altaworks Panorama(TM), which includes support for ATG's Dynamo Application Server products. This continues to build on Panorama's broad coverage of popular J2EE servers, such as BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Sun Java System, Oracle 9i, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and others. Adding to this business logic tier, Panorama also provides for measurement of the broad array of web server and database server components.

The new support in Altaworks Panorama allows enterprises that utilize the ATG Customer Experience Platform for online marketing, sales, and customer service to effectively assess and manage application performance. These e-Business systems are often deployed on a complex distributed infrastructure (i.e., multiple web servers, application servers, and databases, as well as personalization, content, and commerce servers). Unlike competing products in the distributed application management market, Altaworks Panorama views the entire application, including all components and infrastructure, as a complete system, analyzing performance and isolating problems that are often subtle and inter-related.

Operating systems Altaworks Panorama supports include Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003.
