In October, Altai announced assay results from a new gold bearing zone discovered on its Mabulao property on Luzon Island in the Philippines. Assay results from trenching and pitting range from trace to 16 grams/tonne gold. The alteration zone from which these samples were obtained have been traced over a strike length of 1300 meters and an average width of 100 meters. Over 700 rock samples have been collected, as well as an extensive soil sampling; analysis of the samples is underway. Altai also announced surface sampling of its Tierra Amarilla Property in Northwestern Peru had discovered gold values ranging from 0.1 g/t to 4.8 g/t.
