 Quaid Altaf Hussain, Dr Farooq Sattar and several workers of party, PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) The most popular method for transporting IP packets over a serial link between the user and the ISP. Developed in 1994 by the IETF and superseding the SLIP protocol, PPP establishes the session between the user's computer and the ISP using  leaders, bureaucrats and officers to federal government. Sources told over 3500 cases registered against MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain, governor Sindh Ishrat ul Ibad, federal minister Dr Farooq Sattar, members of coordination committee of MQM were withdrawn under NRO. Like wise list of 83 cases which were registered against PPP provincial minister Agha Siraj, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, interior minister A Rehman Malik and 200 other persons and later withdrawn under NRO has also been provided to federal government. The bureaucrats against whom cases were dropped under NRO included former secretary Suleman Farooqi, M.B Abbasi, Pir Didar Jan Sarhandi, Younis Dalia, Siraj Shams ud Din and others. It may be recalled that former chief minister Sindh Arbab Rahim had accorded approval to withdrawal of cases against MQM leadership under NRO.
